Muddy Silks

Muddy Silks is my website to guide me through the National Hunt Racing season and I'm happy to keep it public so that anyone who wants to use it can do so. The website is set up to walk you through the Jumps season from late September building up to the curtain raiser at Chepstow in October and all through the season to the dramatic climax of the spring festivals at Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown in March and April. The website runs right up to the curtain falling on the Jumps Season once again at Sandown in April. I believe in making the Jumps season as engaging as possible and I aim to gather all the information needed to make it a profitable one.

When the leaves turn golden brown and start falling from the autumn trees Muddy Silks gets under way and continues through to the frosty and icy winter days in both Britain & Ireland, walking through the Jumps season day by day, week by week and month by month. December brings a wealth of NH Racing and Muddy Silks will be there throughout the festive season. And when the bells chime in the New Year Muddy Silks will walk through January and February on the all important countdown to The Cheltenham Festival in March and then beyond and into the spring Festivals at Aintree and Punchestown.

Muddy Silks does this by studying previous seasons and identifying which races the eventual Cheltenham winners ran in from autumn to spring and then by highlighting those same races in this years calendar. The website covers all of the fixtures and all of the key meetings for Britain and Ireland. That includes all of the big race analysis, verdicts and tips for hundreds of races including all of the major weekend meetings as well as all of the smaller races and midweek cards that might unearth a Festival winner. Plus there's the Cheltenham Homepage with all 28 races previewed and packed with vital info to help find those precious Festival winners.

I like to see the Jumps season at a weekly, monthly and season-long views. I'll be tracking the Bumper horses, the Juvenile Hurdlers, those precocious Novice Hurdlers and potential Champion Hurdlers; I'll be tracking the Novice Chasers and the potential Champion Chasers every step of the way and building my knowledge for the jewel in the NH Crown: The Cheltenham Festival and the Gold Cup itself. As Cheltenham gets ever closer I'll have news from the Preview Nights and when Cheltenham Eve comes around once again I will offer trends and selecitions designed to empty as much of the bookies satchels into our own betting accounts. This is my site for my benefit and my pleasure but you're welcome to join me on the long winding road from autumn to Cheltenham in March.
